The concert hall is a location in Tomodachi Life. In this location, Miis can sing songs in a group or solo. When a Mii levels up the player can give them a song as a level-up gift. The player can also change the lyrics of the songs.
In the American, European and Korean versions, there are 8 types of songs - Metal, Pop, Rock & Roll, Rap, Ballad, Opera, Techno and Musical. In the Japanese version, there are 6 types - Metal, Pop, Rock & Roll, Rap, Opera, and Enka.
Group Songs
Miis are able to form groups of 2-7 members and play perform songs together, so long as every Mii in the group learned the same songs.
Depending on the order in which the Mii was added, will change what that Mii will do in the performance. Group positions can be changed by clicking the clothes icon on the top-left corner, and sliding it around.
A maximum of 50 group songs can be created.
Trivia
- Miis can potentially confess their love here in Life.
- At the end of the Nintendo Direct for Tomodachi Life, Nintendo played an edited version of the Musical song.
- Selecting "Make it Stop!" causes the song to be interrupted by a loud bell sound. The Miis freeze in place with surprised expression and the audience will begin talking. This may appear incoherent, such as in Musical Group choreography, where if the button is pressed at the right moment, Miis will be doing a split in mid-air.
- "Operation Robodachi" is the only song that is unchanged in both the NA and UK versions of Life.
- Although certain swear-words are censored out, Nintendo's filters can be easily bypassed by the use of umlauts (ü, for example), symbols, euphemisms or spaces. This can be also used to create strange sounds for the Miis to sing.
- The song, "Reach for the Stars!", is easily confused with the theme song of Sonic Colors of the same name.
- If a Mii is given the bath set, they can be heard singing a slower-tempo acapella version of a song (on a la-la-la), even if they haven't already learned it.
- If nothing but symbols are entered, the Miis will make gibberish noises (such as duh-duh-duh).
- In the Rap song, the background dancers can use a cap with the word "Redfurt" on it. This word is seen in the cafe windows, certain hats, and the school photo background.
- The “Metal” song in both the US and UK version runs at a tempo of 224 beats per minute.
- In other countries, the default lyrics are different.
- enka is the only song that is a japen exclusive and never appers in other countries
- if all lyuics are type very long. the lyics are off syinc the game will have no coice but to aitomactaly make it stop after that theres a error messege that says the lyrics you entered could not be sung properly please revise them and try again the miis will be soucked after this its the same with listen mode only singing mii will be shouck for a soceod and will beback to nomel
Songs
Song lyrics can be changed for both solo and group performances. Depending on whether it is a solo or group performance, and how many are participating, dances will vary.
