Please be careful of this in the future, as this has happened on "Events/Transcript" pages, where you already gave me an actual reason on the deleted Message Wall we talked about that before. Next time when you're trying to remove images, you MUST at least give the real/actual reason.
Second, I didn't know why there are images on Mii News/Broadcast Comments and Family album? I think these are very different.
I felt that the extra images on the Sleep and Islander Games pages were a little overwhelming for one page. The purpose of images is to give an idea of what is being described, not to be the actual description.
If you're referring to the images I replace with english versions of Tomodachi Life, its because since this is an english TL wiki, very few people that visit the site (if at all) understand Japanese, and therefore cannot read the Japanese text in each image. For this reason, I believe that images from the Japanese version (and any non-english version, for that matter) should be restricted to showing regional differences between those versions.
That said, I do the OPPOSITE for the Tomodachi Collection images, because the wiki only covers official content made by Nintendo. As a result of this, content from the fan translation is considered unofficial and should not go on this site.
I do hope this helps you to understand why I changed some of the images.
The Japanese version is also official, but yes, i know this is an english wiki. Not many people can read Japanese, so other than containing official content from Nintendo, replacing all image from Tomodachi Collection is basically USELESS. Plus, the names of Compatibility Tester rating from TC do not match the image. For this reason, i wrote some Dialogue on my Tomodachi Collection Transcript blog spot in Japanese (since i also have Japanese keyboard on my Macbook Air. Here.
In addition, images from Baby are not 100% correct. As far as i can read, the Japanese version of "Emergency Call" was actually when the parents need help ("Excuse me..."), while "Please Help" was "Could you help out?"
I believe some pictures on Clothing sub pages should be replaced with American version since this wiki only use American spelling, or just GIF image like Aski1 did.
Clara AD wrote: If the english version of japan-only DS is not official, then I would say that images from Japanese version (or any non-English version) of Tomodachi Life are under copyright or also not official.
What are you talking about, Nintendo isn't going to come after people for posting sceenshots of the Japanese version because they don't care, unless it's from a game that is suppose to come out in the future and someone has early access to it decides to post videos or pictures of it on the internet.
That Tomodachi Collection DS english patch is fanmade and it was posted on the internet illegally, like the whole game. It's against the law to post full video games on the internet for others to download and play, Nintendo has sued people in the past for that. I own the Japanese 3DS version (and also a Japanese 3DS because the game is region lock), I bought it online and it's sitting in my room and not on a computer.
Please do not add meaningless things, as you did on both Baby and List of Regional Differences in Tomodachi Life page. There is picture that says "two parents of a newborn child combining elements of their names to make a new one." It doesn't make any sense to me. I don't understand what does it means.
I like the photos of your Mii children. The only problem is: it's not common for babies to have angry mouth, full lips, or even full teeth at early stages - but if the player says "So cute!", who cares?! None-the-less, they might be cute as-is.
And also you spelled "energetic" wrong on your profile.
Ahab “Nero” Greddenburg is an antagonist of a Steampunk-inspired series I created, named Revolution Industrial. A general of the Industrial-Germany inspired country of Senland, he’s basically inspired from the Phantom of the Opera, except much more gentlemanly and cunning.
Gunter is one of the “original characters” I made specifically for my Tomodachi Life island. She’s known to be brash, tomboyish, and easily angered. Her and Nero were eventually married and even have a daughter named Neveah, hence why that image shows them together. Unfortunately, I forgot to add their QR codes.
The girl is another Revolution Industrial character named Meredith Southview. The princess of the Industrial-age Britain-inspired Heland, Meredith is kind and polite, but also somewhat headstrong.
The husband is Harry "Slim" McArthur, another Mii I created specifically for my island. If you've seen my main page, you can probably see he looks like a ghost with glasses, or a bootleg Harry Potter. Slim eventually became a member of The Three Broke Dudes, a Rock 'n Roll group alongside Bubba Gump and Burgeon "Sad Dude" Buttmonkey. Their baby is either their first child, a daughter named Alexa; or their second child, a son named Cameron. I think the one here is the latter.
Eventually they did divorce, so no, they are not still together. I don't have an image of Neveah on me, so I can't show one at this time.
If you’re using a regular 3DS, you’ll need to take out it’s SD card and insert it in your PC’s SD slot, allowing you to upload the photos saved on it. If you’re using a New 3DS, you will need to go to “System Settings”, then select “Micro SD Management”. This will allow your 3DS to connect directly to your PC’s network, allowing you to browse its contents.
