Tomodachi Life Wiki

This blog is mostly for historical purposes rather than for properly explaining my playthrough of Tomodachi Collection. Basically, it is not meant to entertain.

Himari Kita and Era Ise are now married! I was keeping the camera on them while they were hanging out together and after a while they had a happy conversation. When I went into the room Himari and Era announced their marriage. After that they got a little credits sequence, which was very cute.

After that I added Maria Cabbage and Hinoka Hoshido to the island. Hinoka later confessed her/his love to Midori, but Midori rejected Hinoka. Hinoka soon went to sleep after that.

Hinoka is technically both a boy and a girl. Hinoka from Fire Emblem: Fates is a girl, but in my Tomodachi Collection file she is a male. I have set up a little system to make sure that there are enough marriageable candidates for each gender. Meaning, there will be equal numbers of each gender so that everyone can get married.

The rules of my system:

  • I will not move around islanders's rooms, nor will I erase any islanders from my game.
  • The 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, and essentially any odd-numbered islander added to the island will be female.
  • The 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, and essentially any even-numbered islander added to the island will be male.
  • I will never add an odd number of islanders to the island at a time. All islanders must come in pairs.
  • All villagers must be 18 and older.

Originally, I was going to give each gender a specific feature that they would have so that I would know if a Mii is set in-game as a girl or a boy. For example, I would have all boys have moles and all girls have a blush. However, by setting up the odd-numbered Miis as girls and all the odd-numbered Miis as boys, I could easily remember who was from what room instead. This would prevent possibly messing with a Mii's appearance, which I find hard to get right.

In the future, I might consider giving each gender a specific eye color. For example, all girls would have green eyes and all boys would have silver.

On an unrelated note, I have unlocked the tower and the Pawn Shop on my island. Those were the last two buildings I needed, so I'm pretty much set now. In Tomodachi Life I once aimed for a number of goals: getting a certain amount of Miis married, having some number of money, unlocking all items, etc. For this game, I only plan to unlock all items, along with some minor goals of getting all islanders kimonos or something.

Maria Cabbage got her own kimono today. The game she's originally from portrays her as shy, smart, naive, and sweet. Here Maria seems formal, polite, slightly bashful, and still sweet. The kimono really helps her look older, so her appearance doesn't resemble a little girl anymore.

Maria enjoys hanging out with Rizi, but Rizi figures that spending time chatting with friends on the phone is a better idea. Maria watches Rizi walk around the room for some amount of minutes, almost falling asleep occasionally. Maria then decided to invite the tomboy over to her house, where Maria chats with Rizi as she uses her laptop. Rizi smiles brightly and is very energetic, while Maria stretches and yawns ever so often. These yawns are clearly not contagious.

Maria and Rizi could be sisters. Both share the same skin tone, nose shape, hair color, and their eye size doesn't differ greatly. Personality-wise Rizi may be a bit too tomboyish and excited for Maria, but other than that they are very similar. They have the exact same personality type, which is slightly unfortunate because the island is lacking in more independent, silent Miis. Maybe tomorrow I'll add one but right now it's a bit late and I need to step away from Tomodachi Collection for a bit.
